Shrimps, passion fruit, ginger furikake & olive oil.

Ingredients for 5 Onigiri:

  • 15 cooked shrimp
  • 1 passion fruit
  • Good quality olive oil
  • 2 tsp ginger furikake
  • 1 nori seaweed sheet
  • 150g rice

Process:

  • Make the marinade by mixing the passion fruit, olive oil, and ginger furikake (no need to add salt). Add the shrimp to this mixture and refrigerate.
  • When the rice is cooked, you can start assembling the onigiri.
  • In a mold previously soaked in water, add a spoonful of rice, making sure to form a well. Add 2 shrimp, cut into thirds, with a small spoonful of the marinade. Then, add another spoonful of rice, close the mold with slight pressure, and unmold.
  • Cut the nori sheets to fit the onigiri, shaping them as desired.
  • For decoration, you can add a shrimp on top with some marinade and furikake.
