Ingredients for 5 Onigiri:
- 15 cooked shrimp
- 1 passion fruit
- Good quality olive oil
- 2 tsp ginger furikake
- 1 nori seaweed sheet
- 150g rice
Process:
- Make the marinade by mixing the passion fruit, olive oil, and ginger furikake (no need to add salt). Add the shrimp to this mixture and refrigerate.
- When the rice is cooked, you can start assembling the onigiri.
- In a mold previously soaked in water, add a spoonful of rice, making sure to form a well. Add 2 shrimp, cut into thirds, with a small spoonful of the marinade. Then, add another spoonful of rice, close the mold with slight pressure, and unmold.
- Cut the nori sheets to fit the onigiri, shaping them as desired.
- For decoration, you can add a shrimp on top with some marinade and furikake.
