Tuna and Cream Cheese Onigiri

Yield: Makes 5 onigiris


  • 50g drained tuna
  • 50g cream cheese
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp capers
  • Spicy furikake


  • Finely slice the red onion and add it to the previously chopped tuna. Then, add the remaining ingredients. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Assembling the Onigiri:

  • In a mold previously soaked in water, add a spoonful of rice, making sure to create a well.
  • Add the tuna mixture into the center of the onigiri.
  • Then, add another spoonful of rice, close the mold, exerting light pressure, and unmold.
  • Decorate the top of the onigiri with a little tuna and a caper after wrapping it in nori seaweed.
  • Enjoy immediately!
